What are the benefits of Reiki?

Reiki is a great tool for stress reduction and relaxation. Many people use Reiki for wellness, not just to assist in healing. A session balances the energy in your body, triggering the body’s relaxation response, leading to a calmer physical and emotional state. People who are feeling fatigued or who are recovering from illness or injury also benefit from receiving Reiki because it stimulates blocked areas to promote healing, reduce pain or discomfort and promote a sense of well-being.

Reiki is a great tool to use as a complement to traditional and alternative medicine, and is practiced in many hospitals, medical care and therapeutic settings. Reiki can be effective on children and animals to help soothe and comfort pain, injuries or anxiety. Reiki is not a cure for a disease or illness, but it may assist the body in creating an environment that may facilitate healing.
